About Shackleton Fox Antiques

Shackleton Fox Antiques is a husband-and-wife team with a deep-rooted passion for antiques, history, and period properties. Over the past six years, our business has grown as an entirely online venture. Inspired by a rich family tradition, it was a natural step to continue this legacy into the second generation.

Jackie brings extensive experience in art & design, contract management, procurement, and supply chain management, while Jonathan, an accountant with over 20 years of expertise, contributes a meticulous eye for detail and creative flair in restoration. Together, our complementary skills form the foundation of a business dedicated to curating an exceptional range of antiques.

We pride ourselves on our family-oriented, personal, and approachable ethos. All items we sell are meticulously prepared, including rewiring and PAT inspection to UK standards, ensuring they are ready to be enjoyed immediately—saving our clients time and additional expense.



Our Coat of Arms 

At the center stands a shield, bearing two meaningful symbols. The explorer ship represents Jonathan’s historic ties to Ernest Shackleton, the legendary explorer whose courage and resilience embody the spirit of adventure and discovery. Alongside the ship is the fox, symbolising Jackie, with its sharp wit, adaptability, and resourcefulness—qualities that guide our endeavors and reflect a unique personal identity.

Guarding the shield are two elegant greyhounds, positioned on either side, signifying loyalty, vigilance, and noble protection. Their poised presence reflects the values that uphold our family legacy.

Atop the crest sits a regal lion upon a crown, combining the strength and leadership of the lion with the authority and achievement symbolised by the crown. Together, they highlight the perseverance, courage, and royal stature that inspire our path forward.

Below the shield reads our family slogan: "Una Crescimus"—"Together We Grow." This motto reflects the unity and shared progress that are the foundations of our journey, as we build business empires grounded in collaboration, legacy, and ambition.

For example, "The Crown" has showcased Corinthian column tables, a style we frequently stock. These items become sought after, especially during the period drama season. Personal Sourcing and Bespoke Services

If an item you’re seeking isn’t currently in stock, we offer a tailored sourcing service. We also assist with house projects by locating additional furnishings and supporting personal buying trips, ensuring clients benefit from expert advice and the best possible deals.
