Ansonia clocks were manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Company of Connecticut, United States, from the mid-nineteenth century onwards. The company became one of America\'s leading clockmakers, producing a wide variety of mantel, wall, regulator and novelty clocks in styles ranging from Victorian and Rococo Revival to Art Nouveau. Their clocks are widely collected for both their decorative appeal and reliable movements.
