This extraordinary hallway pendant is a triumph of late-Victorian glasswork and metalcraft. Designed to command attention, its scale and "flame" motif suggest it was originally commissioned for the grand entrance of a townhouse or a significant ecclesiastical passage.

The Flame Globe: The primary feature is the oversized, heavy-gauge frosted glass globe. Meticulously molded to simulate swirling, kinetic flames, the glass diffuses light into a soft, ethereal glow, transforming a harsh bulb into a warm, atmospheric "beacon."

Artisan Bronze Gallery: The globe is suspended by a substantial and ornate bronze gallery. The upper collar features stylized foliate "petals" and architectural strapping, held in place by its original knurled thumb screws. The deep, chocolate-brown patina is entirely natural and undisturbed.

Engineering & Presence: Weighing a formidable 6.2 kg, this is a "Heavyweight" of the lighting world. Its verticality (61 cm) allows it to dominate tall stairwells or grand foyers where standard fixtures would be lost.

Cleaning, Polishing & Restoration
All our collections have been through our workshop and where possible, we always try to maintain the original finish preserving the patina and colour. Some items are sympathetically restored and this is done by our own skilled craftsmen using only traditional methods
We complete a full assessment, re-wire and PAT inspection on all lighting. The full assessment can include general upkeep and updating – Fitting new lamp holders, deep cleaning, minor repairs and replacement of fragile metal pins are all part of our service. Rewiring includes a standard rewire to conform with UK electrical regulations to an adaptation or conversion
