Gillows of Lancaster was one of Britain\'s most respected cabinet-making firms, established in 1730 by Robert Gillow. The company became internationally renowned for producing exceptionally high-quality furniture, combining outstanding craftsmanship with elegant design throughout the Georgian, Regency and Victorian periods. Many pieces are stamped or labelled with the Gillows name, and original examples remain among the most desirable and valuable items of English antique furniture.
