Capodimonte is one of Italy\'s most celebrated porcelain manufacturers, founded in Naples in 1743 by King Charles VII of Naples. The factory became renowned for producing exceptionally fine soft-paste porcelain, including figures, tableware, floral sculptures and decorative objects inspired by Rococo and Neoclassical styles. Although the original factory closed in 1759, later manufacturers continued the Capodimonte tradition, creating finely modelled porcelain admired throughout the world. Antique Capodimonte remains highly collectable for its artistry, craftsmanship and association with Italian porcelain.
