ABOUT OUR SOURCING SERVICE

With years of experience and an established network of trusted contacts, we source antiques and decorative pieces to suit individual requirements. From a single statement piece to a complete interior scheme, we take the time to understand your vision and find the right objects.

Working with private collectors, interior designers and period property owners, we regularly travel throughout Britain and Europe, visiting antique fairs, specialist dealers, auctions and private collections.

MORE THAN ANTIQUE DEALERS

At Shackleton Fox, our sourcing service is supported by years of experience in discovering, handling and restoring antiques. Our specialist knowledge and in-house workshop allow us to recognise exceptional craftsmanship, understand condition and preserve the character of each piece.

OUR SOURCING NETWORK

Our search for exceptional antiques takes us throughout Britain and mainland Europe, where we regularly visit specialist dealers, antique fairs, auctions, private collections and established trade contacts.

Over the years, we have developed trusted relationships with fellow dealers and specialists, providing access to distinctive pieces that may never reach the wider market.

From antique lighting and decorative objects to fine furniture, artwork and architectural antiques, every piece is considered for its quality, originality, character and suitability for our clients.

WHAT WE CAN SOURCE

Exceptional Antiques, Personally Sourced for You

Whether you are searching for a particular antique, a statement piece for your home or something truly unusual, we offer a personal sourcing service across a wide range of antiques and decorative objects.

Our particular expertise lies in antique lighting, decorative antiques and distinctive pieces for country houses and individual interiors.

We begin by understanding your requirements, preferences and budget.

We search our network of trusted dealers, auctions and specialist contacts.

We present a carefully curated selection of pieces, with detailed information and photographs.

Once you've chosen a piece, we handle the arrangements, purchase and documentation.

We arrange secure packaging and delivery throughout the UK and worldwide.

TRADE & PROFESSIONAL CLIENTS

We work closely with interior designers, architects, property professionals and commercial clients, sourcing distinctive antiques and decorative pieces for projects of every scale.

Whether you are searching for a pair of antique bedside lamps, a statement mirror for a Georgian hallway, original artwork or furnishings for an entire property, we can help you discover pieces that complement your design vision.

Our established network of trusted dealers and specialist suppliers throughout Britain and Europe allows us to source pieces beyond our existing collection. We understand the importance of quality, proportion, provenance and project deadlines, offering a discreet and dependable service from initial enquiry through to delivery.

Trade accounts are available.

OUR HERITAGE WORKSHOP

Our sourcing service is supported by our own specialist workshop, where we carefully restore, conserve and prepare antiques for their next chapter.

From antique lighting restoration and rewiring to sympathetic repairs and bespoke lamp conversions, our workshop allows us to look beyond an object's present condition and recognise its potential.

As members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, we take pride in preserving original character, craftsmanship and patina wherever possible, ensuring each piece is treated with the care and consideration it deserves.
