Cathedral Glass

Cathedral Glass is coloured translucent glass traditionally used in stained-glass windows, churches and decorative architectural glazing. Unlike painted or leaded stained glass, cathedral glass derives its colour from metallic oxides incorporated during manufacture, allowing light to pass through while creating rich, vibrant hues. It has been widely used in ecclesiastical architecture, Victorian entrance doors and decorative interior screens, where it adds both colour and atmosphere.
