Amphora Austria refers to the celebrated ceramics produced by the Amphora pottery works in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia (now the Czech Republic), during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Best known for its Art Nouveau and Secessionist designs, Amphora produced highly decorative vases, figures and table ornaments featuring flowing organic forms, exotic subjects and richly coloured glazes.
