Antique wall brackets are decorative wall-mounted supports designed to display sculptures, vases, clocks, porcelain and other ornamental objects. Carved from wood, stone or marble, or cast in bronze and brass, they are often richly decorated with acanthus leaves, scrolls and foliate ornament. Antique wall brackets serve as both practical supports and striking architectural features.
