Depression Glass

Depression Glass is machine-pressed or moulded coloured glass produced primarily during the 1920s and 1930s, particularly throughout the Great Depression in the United States. Manufactured in a wide range of colours including pink, green, amber, blue and clear, it was often given away as promotional items or sold at affordable prices. Today, Depression Glass is highly collectable for its distinctive patterns, vibrant colours and historical significance. *Related Terms*\ Art Glass, Carnival Glass, Coloured Glass, Pressed Glass, Uranium Glass.
