Estate Drawing Room refers to the principal reception room within a country house or grand estate, traditionally used for entertaining guests, conversation and relaxation after dining. Drawing rooms were elegantly furnished with fine seating, occasional tables, mirrors, fireplaces, paintings and chandeliers, showcasing the finest craftsmanship and decorative arts of the period. Antique furnishings from estate drawing rooms remain highly desirable for both collectors and period interiors.
