Foot Warmer is a portable warming device traditionally used to keep feet warm during cold weather, particularly in churches, carriages and draughty homes. Antique foot warmers were commonly made from brass, copper, ceramic or wood and contained heated bricks or metal inserts. They are valued today as charming examples of domestic history.
