A Banker\'s Lamp is a desk lamp characterised by its distinctive horizontal green glass shade mounted on a brass stem and weighted base. Originally developed in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries for banks, libraries and professional offices, the design provides focused downward illumination while reducing glare. Antique Banker\'s Lamps remain highly desirable for studies, libraries and home offices, combining practicality with timeless style.
