A Cellarette is a decorative cabinet or chest designed for storing wine bottles, spirits and decanters. Popular during the Georgian and Regency periods, cellarettes were often lined with lead or zinc to help keep bottles cool and were commonly crafted from mahogany with brass carrying handles and decorative mounts. Today they are highly sought after as both functional drinks cabinets and elegant pieces of antique furniture.
