A Corinthian Column Lamp is a table lamp modelled on the ornate Corinthian order of Classical architecture, distinguished by its acanthus-leaf capital and fluted column. Particularly fashionable during the Victorian period, Corinthian lamps were produced in brass, bronze and cast iron, often standing on stepped square bases. They remain one of the most recognisable and collectable forms of antique table lighting.
