A Hanging Porch Lantern is a suspended lantern designed to illuminate porches, entranceways and covered exterior spaces. Traditionally crafted from brass, copper, wrought iron or bronze with glazed panels, antique porch lanterns combine practical outdoor lighting with architectural elegance. Many surviving examples have been professionally rewired for safe modern use.
