A Hearth Brush is a brush specifically designed for sweeping ash, soot and debris from the hearth and around the fireplace. Antique hearth brushes commonly feature turned wooden handles fitted with natural bristles and were often used alongside a matching shovel as part of a fireside set. They remain popular collectors\' items and practical accessories for period fireplaces.
