Historic Revival refers to the practice of reviving and reinterpreting architectural and decorative styles from earlier historical periods. During the eighteenth, nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, designers drew inspiration from Gothic, Classical, Renaissance, Tudor and Baroque traditions, creating revival styles that blended historical influences with contemporary craftsmanship. Historic Revival remains an important concept in architecture, furniture and interior design.
