Bleu Céleste Porcelain is a distinctive pale sky-blue ground developed by the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory during the eighteenth century. Often enriched with gilding and finely painted reserves depicting flowers, landscapes or classical scenes, Bleu Céleste became one of the most celebrated colours in French porcelain production. Antique examples are highly prized for their elegance, rarity and association with royal patronage.
