Etruria was the historic Staffordshire factory established by Josiah Wedgwood in 1769, becoming one of the most important centres of British ceramic production. Named after the ancient Etruscan civilisation, the factory produced many of Wedgwood\'s most celebrated wares, including Jasperware, Black Basalt and fine creamware. Pieces bearing the Etruria mark are highly regarded for their craftsmanship, innovation and historical significance.
