A Bay Window is a window projecting outward from the main wall of a building, creating additional interior space while allowing increased natural light to enter. Popular in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, bay windows are commonly polygonal, square or curved and often feature decorative glazing, mouldings and window seats. They remain one of the defining features of period homes.
