Bevelled Glass is glass whose edges have been cut and polished at an angle to create a decorative border that refracts and reflects light. Widely used from the Victorian period onwards, bevelled glass is commonly found in mirrors, cabinet doors, display cases, windows and decorative panels. Antique bevelled glass is admired for the subtle prism effect it creates, adding depth, brilliance and elegance to furniture and interiors.
