The Chelsea Porcelain Factory was one of England\'s earliest and most influential porcelain manufacturers, operating in London between approximately 1743 and 1769. Celebrated for its finely modelled figures, botanical studies, tablewares and decorative objects, Chelsea drew inspiration from both Continental European and Chinese porcelain traditions. Original Chelsea porcelain is among the most desirable of all English ceramics, admired for its artistic quality and historical importance.
