A Corner Cupboard is a storage cupboard designed to fit into the corner of a room, either standing on the floor or mounted on the wall. Widely used in Georgian, country and farmhouse interiors, antique corner cupboards provided practical storage for ceramics, food and household goods while making efficient use of otherwise unused space. Many examples feature panelled doors, shaped cornices and beautifully figured timbers.
