A Cornucopia, also known as the Horn of Plenty, is a decorative motif symbolising abundance, prosperity and harvest. Originating in Classical mythology, the cornucopia is typically depicted as a horn overflowing with fruit, flowers or grain. It appears frequently in antique sculpture, silverware, ceramics, furniture carving and architectural ornament, particularly within Neoclassical and Victorian decorative arts.
