French Doors are a pair of glazed doors featuring multiple glass panes that open outwards or inwards to connect interior rooms with gardens, terraces or balconies. Originating in seventeenth-century France, they became widely adopted in Georgian and Victorian architecture for their ability to maximise natural light while creating an elegant architectural feature.
