Georgian Lighting encompasses chandeliers, candlesticks, wall sconces, lanterns and oil lamps produced during the Georgian period. Characterised by elegant proportions and restrained decoration, Georgian lighting was commonly crafted from brass, ormolu, silver or cut glass. Many surviving examples have since been professionally converted for safe electric use while retaining their original historic character, making them both practical and highly collectible.
