Hyaline Glass is a refined decorative glass developed during the nineteenth century, recognised for its smooth, milky or semi-translucent appearance and delicate colouring. Produced in subtle shades including white, blue and pink, hyaline glass was commonly used for scent bottles, vases, tableware and lighting shades. Antique examples are highly collectible for their elegant appearance and association with Victorian decorative glassmaking.
