Folding Screen is a freestanding partition made from hinged panels, designed to divide interior spaces, provide privacy or create a decorative backdrop. Folding screens have been used throughout Europe and Asia for centuries and are often decorated with paintings, lacquer, embroidery or carved wood. Antique examples remain popular as both functional furniture and works of decorative art.
