A Highboy is a tall chest of drawers comprising two stacked sections, popular in Britain and America during the late seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Usually raised on elegant cabriole or bracket feet, highboys provided substantial clothing storage while showcasing the cabinet-maker\'s craftsmanship through veneers, carvings and decorative hardware.
