Anglo-Dutch furniture describes English furniture produced during the late seventeenth century under the influence of Dutch design, particularly during the reign of William III. It is recognised for its restrained elegance, spiral or baluster legs, walnut veneers, marquetry, floral inlays and practical forms. The style marked an important transition between Restoration and Queen Anne furniture.
