Architectural Columns

Architectural columns are vertical structural and decorative elements used to support buildings while adding proportion, elegance and classical character. Originating in ancient Greece and Rome, columns are defined by their distinctive orders, including Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. Antique architectural columns remain highly sought after for both interior and exterior design, often being repurposed in country houses, gardens and period restorations.
